I have also recently been introduced to a funny blog called "Stuff Christians Like". The author is a preacher's kid who does a daily post about church and being Christian. The post today was about "pot lucks."

A busted eye and a funny blog
We had a surprise party at our house last night for a friend from college. Happy 30th, Elise!!! During the excitement of the night Ty fell and hit his head on our brick fireplace hearth. We took a quick trip to the Children's Clinic and had his eyebrow trimmed and the gash glued back together. I think if I have to go back for an emergency visit to a doctor within the next week someone is going to call Children's Services on me. I'm also hoping that having some type of medical emergency is not becoming part of our weekly habits. I only have TWO kids haven't they reach their allotment of medical emergencies for the year? Because of this Ty cannot get the gash wet for about three days. That means no washing his hair. This child sweats GALLONS per day in the summer, he is that weird kid who will be sweating when it's 30 degrees outside. He is going to be the nine year old who has to wear deodorant to school every day. You know that kid in your class that always smelled bad till one day he came in smelling like your dad. That's my son! Sooo his hair is going to be disgusting by Thursday!

At least we know he has a pretty hard head! Did he get a Curious George bandaid? Maybe it will leave just a little scar which will add to the affect when he raises the one eybrow like his Granddaddy. I love my accident-
prone grandsons!
Bless that baby's heart. Hope he stays accident free for a while!
Andy and Karen have made several trips to the ER with Cole, also. Karen jokes about fearing someone will come in from Children's Services to question her. Your boys are just excited about life and ready to jump right in!
if it makes you feel any better at all, we had to have poison control on speed dial when aj was younger...i can't count how many times we had to call them because she figured out how to access things she wasn't supposed to have
