A Day with Dad!!

Andrew got a call yesterday from a friend of my parents asking if he wanted to go flying. Of course Andrew said "yes," but he forgot he was supposed to watch Ty this morning. So he ended up taking Ty with him. They flew down to Auburn to drop something off (they did not bring me back any Breezeway chicken fingers though). Tyler had a great time, he came home very excited and not wanting to take a nap. The only headset Ty would wear was Andrew's brand new Bose set so Andrew had to give it up for the flight back. Tyler talked the WHOLE way back to Bessemer, and he even sang for them. Thank you Mr. Wear for inviting them to come along and for a great time.

Nolan is a month old!!

It has been a wonderful first month with Nolan as part of our family. I can't believe how fast he is growing. We took him to be weighed at four weeks and he was just then as big as Ty was when Ty was born. Nolan has been such a sweet addition to our family. He rarely cries and has now started to smile. He loves his bother too. Whenever he hears Ty he starts looking for him and will actually stop crying when Ty talks to him. Tyler talks ALOT too so that may be the reason Nolan doesn't cry much. I do keep trying to convince Nolan that he can probably sleep about 6 hours at a time during the night, but he hasn't listened to me yet.

God has blessed us with a wonderful little boy.

Nolan enjoys his bath. We put his baby tub down in the big tub while Tyler takes his bath and Nolan will just sit there so contently while I bath him. He is also so relaxed after his bath and falls right to sleep.

I've been trying to get a good picture of him smiling but that is so difficult to do right now. This is one of the best ones I have. That is really one of the best sights in the world.
