It has been a great month and Abbie is a wonderful baby. She is already sleeping 6-7 hour stretches at night, she is an efficient nurser, and has taken well to a bottle. She is also very content and happy. She does not like to be put down especially in the evenings. Now that Drew has gone back to work I'm relearning how to do a lot with one hand.
We went to the doctor on Tuesday for her a 4 week checkup. She is growing very well and is up to 7 pounds and 9 ounces. She has also grown about an inch and a half in length since she was born. I'm wondering if she may end up being our chunky little baby, so far we have missed out on the baby fat rolls with the boys. But if she keeps getting longer faster then wider I guess I can give up on that.
Our little Abbie looks just like Nolan. If I can find a good newborn picture of Ty, we lost most of then in a computer crash, I will post some comparison pictures of the three of them. I have to admit that I have enjoyed the girl accessories and clothes. I am also having lots of fun with sewing plans and ideas for her. I've done several dresses and I can't wait to try some new things.
Here's really what you want to see, pictures of Abbie. This is a little of what we've been up to this past month.
After her first bath. Right after we took the pictures she peed so much it went through the towel all over me and left a puddle on the floor.
Trying to catch some of those first sleep smiles
We took her out to Newnan when she was a week old to meet Drew's Grandmother. Here are four generations of Reagans
My brother is trying to get into doing some photography. We have graciously offered to let him take pictures of our kids. He came over when Abbie was about two weeks old and took some great ones. Here are a few of them.
