Getting ready for the big day..

Sooo it's been awhile since I've updated our blog.  Tomorrow is the big day.  We have to be at the hospital at 6 am for an induction.  We are very excited about meeting our sweet girl tomorrow.  Tyler is extremely excited also.  We were talking about her coming tomorrow and he said: "I'm so excited.  She is going to be beautiful."  I will update the blog as soon as possible with pictures.

I have also not posted anything about her nursery.  That is because it's not finished.  I started to sew her bedding last night and ran out of thread.  It will be a work in progress during my maternity leave but I'm confident I can get it done pretty soon.  Here is some of the inspiration/items going into her room.

I realized after a comment that I have not shared our sweet girl's name with all of our 3 readers.  Tabitha is after my great-grandmother and Andrew picked out Jane from a list of middle names we had.  We are ready to meet our little girl.  Less then 4 weeks left till due date, three weeks till I can be induced.  Here's to hoping things happen a little sooner.

surgery, shower, seven years and school

It has ben a crazy two weeks around our house.  It all started when Nolan had surgery.  He had a second set of tubes put in and his adenoids out.  The surgery went a lot better then we expected but unfortunately he got an infection afterwards and it took him over a week and two types of antibiotics to get rid of the fevers.

We love being in a city with a Children's Hospital.  They have an outpatient surgery center and they get to ride around in cars in the hallway while waiting.

Some of my friends from church also threw my a baby girl shower the weekend after Nolan's surgery.  The pink has officially entered our house.  I can't believe how many gifts Abbie received and they just keep coming.

Andrew and I also celebrated our seven year anniversary and my birthday.  We went to PF Changs for lunch one day but with a little one recovering from surgery that was about the extent of our celebrations.  

Drew's parents came this past weekend.  Our lawnmower was broken so Drew and his dad worked on it.  Of course Ty got out his toolbox and gloves to help.

Monday was the boys' first day or school.  I am so excited they are back to school it will be great to get back into a routine.  Ty is very excited to go back but Nolan is still trying to figure it out.  He's still trying to recover from his surgery and I think he's now cutting a molar.  

So we rounded out these busy two weeks by a visit to my Doctor to be checked.  Progress is being made but I have to admit I was disappointed with how little progress though.  I may have to take up jogging but the 300 degree heat outside means it's probably NOT going to happen.
