Pool Fun!
I finally pulled out the pool the other day. So far though we have only been able to play in it for one day. Yesterday I dragged everyone and all of our stuff out there and 20 minutes later it began to rain. We'll try again today.

Memorial Day Weekend
This past weekend was filled with some "first" for the Reagan boys. We flew to Atlanta for the long weekend. Nolan took his first airplane ride! He did great, NO screaming!! Shannon attempted the traveling alone with both kids. It went well, I did have my hands full after we picked up our bag and the car seats. Next we have to take Nolan on his first plane ride with his Daddy as the pilot.
Thursday night we took both boys to their first MLB game. Julie got some tickets so we went and watched the Braves beat the Mets (Go Braves!). Ty had a wonderful time. He is really starting to get into baseball. We weren't going to take him but he heard us talking about going to the game and he said he wanted to go. Since we had an extra ticket he got to come too. He was very excited to see Chipper Jones. When we play ball in the back yard Ty always gets to bat and he says he is Chipper Jones. Nolan slept for most of the game. We all had a great time. Thanks Julie!!

Tyler got the ride on Granddaddy's new tractor this past weekend. He also helped Granddaddy work on the tractor and the truck. I think all Ty does though while they are "working" is sit on the tractor or lawn mower and pretend to drive.

Ty's Discoveries
Tyler was fascinated this past fall when all the ladybugs migrated into the house. He was very excited this past week when we found a LIVE ladybug in the back yard. This poor little bug provided about 30 minutes worth of entertainment before it finally flew away. Ty will also follow butterflies and bees all around the yard. It's a lot of fun seeing the the world through the eyes of a two year old. It reminds me how exciting the little things in life can be.
Nolan is starting to have some long periods of alert time during the day. So we are starting to see the development of some facial expressions. I thought this one was cute.

It's been a great two weeks
It's been two weeks since Nolan was born. He's only been a part of our family for a few weeks but it seems like he's been a part of our lives forever. I remember feeling that way with Tyler too, it's amazing!
We went today for Nolan's two week doctor appointment. The doctor says he is "perfect." Of course we already knew that was true. Nolan already loves to eat. The doctor said that they expect nursing babies to gain about 1/2 ounce per day. Nolan has gained over an ounce every day. He was small when he was born but I don't think he'll be small for much longer. If he keeps this up I'm going to have to get a full time job just so we can feed the boys.
Nolan was about a week old in this picture. It's one of the first days that he was actually alert for awhile.
We took this picture today. Nolan has been picking up his head some but today Ty came over to talk to him and he held his head up for about a minute. He is so talented!!
