SNOW, SNOW, SNOW!!!!

So Valentine's weekend we got a good snow here in B'ham.  Soon after our house was attacked by a nasty stomach virus that visited our house.  What a HORRIBLE experience when you are pregnant.  I am just now feeling completely better.  We had a wonderful day as it snowed most of the afternoon and evening.  Andrew was able to come home that night and enjoy some of the snow before it melted the next day.
We stopped at Target the next morning to get Nolan some rain boots.  He picked them out.
This is what happens when a plane goes over when I'm trying to get a picture of the males in my family. Just after taking this the snowman's head fell off.
Nolan REALLY likes his boots and this is a common sight in our house now.
Here's the belly at 10 weeks.  I can't believe how big it is already.  By the third time around it just kind of plops out there quickly.

Babies in Hats

I LOVE babies in hats.  I am so excited that this baby will be born in September and will be able to wear hats ALL winter.  That's about 5 months of hats, yippee!!!  I found some adorable ones on Etsy and will be adding some of these to my wish list.

For the newborn:
Kiss Hats

I love this picture too!

Could I get this in orange and blue, please?

For the Girls:

I think this is my favorite girl hat

And of course for the boys:

Loving this one!

pregnancy thanks

As I approach the end of my first trimester I am trying to remember to be thankful for ALL aspects of pregnancy.  Some are exciting and fun, some uncomfortable and annoying and some are just sickening.  I am trying to remind myself that even some of the unpleasant things should be a reminder that my body is changing and adapting to grow and protect this sweet baby.  It is so amazing to me the way God has created and blessed us with this process of life.

Some of these things I truly am thankful for now and look forward to experiencing in the next 7 months.  Some of these things I am trying to remind myself to be thankful for because it's all part of this amazing process.
